Choose an intimate setting in your glass igloo or log cabin, or a private outdoor moment under the stars. We can prepare the setting in advance and personalize to suit your special day. A professional photographer or even a private Santa Claus visit can also be arranged.

Livo Arctic is a luxurious village of aurora-igloos at Posio in the arctic Finnish Lapland. Situated close to the beautiful lake Livo we offer a total arctic experience starting with the uniquely designed aurora-igloos and including the full experience packages with Reindeers, Huskies, Snowmobiles and plenty more.

Reindeer experience

The reindeer experience includes reindeer sleigh ride in a silent, snowy forest and feeding the reindeers with reindeer guide. The guests will be told about reindeer husbandry and their role in the nature of Lapland. At the end of the visit the guests will be offered coffee at the farm’s kota restaurant.

Duration: about 2 hours.

Price: 100€/person.

Riisitunturi husky experience

The Riisitunturi husky experience starts with bus transport to husky farm, where the guests will experience a husky safari. After the safari guests have an opportunity to take a closer look to the home of the huskies and visit a Lappish teepee. The whole experience takes place in the majestic views Riisitunturi fell.

Duration: about 2 hours, transfer 1h/direction.

Price: 250€/person.

Snowmobile experience

Guests will be taught to drive their very own snowmobile – either alone or with a pair. The safari will drive around the beautiful frozen lakes of Posio and culminate to an athmospheric moment around fire.

Winter activities

Livo Arctic winter activities include self-serviced and guided fun activities with snow. The activities contain for example the basics of snowshoeing and forest skiing.

Lake Livo experience

Lake Livo experience takes place on the ice of Lake Livo. Guests will be taught to icefishing and basic wilderness skills – firemaking, woodcraft and melting snow. Guide will prepare hot drinks and snacks for the trip.

Trip to Santa Claus Village

Enjoy the beautiful landscapes and a cozy journey that guides you towards the enchantment of Christmas. Snow-covered landscapes, colorful houses, and a joyful atmosphere await you. Explore the diverse boutiques of Santa Claus Village and find the perfect gifts for your loved ones. The selection includes unique handicrafts and traditional Christmas items.”

Dry Floating

Aurora Hunting

This is your invitation to join the select few who have witnessed the dance of the Northern Lights. Let the Arctic nights enchant you, as we embark on an Aurora Hunting Expedition. With our guide, you’ll have the opportunity to reach the best spots to witness rare Northern Lights and capture them in your memories.

Full Moon Hunting
